Erin obtained her BA in Public Relations and Political Science from The University of New Mexico in 2011 and her JD from Arizona Summit Law School in 2014. While in law school, Erin served on the Board for the Health Law Society and the Health and Wellness Society. She was also a member of the Public Interest Law Association and the Hispanic Law Student Association.
Erin was admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico in April 2015, and began her career at the Second Judicial District Attorney’s Office. While at the DA’s office, Erin conducted well over 20 felony and misdemeanor jury trials, countless bench trials and hearings.
Erin has received awards for her contribution to the field of teacher education and for exemplary demonstration of VA core values & characteristics, extraordinary advocacy skill, legal acumen, and research ability by the Department of Veterans Affairs. She is also a published author and has extensive experience as a guest lecturer in the areas of inclusion education, working with individuals with disabilities, disability advocacy, the role and duties of a prosecutor, domestic violence and the criminal justice system, and other areas of criminal law.
Erin currently practices insurance defense, including construction defects, employment defense, products liabilty and medical negligence.
